woke up and ate hostel breakfast. pretty simple but excellent bread
left for santa marta at 915
cool scenery and had some others in our van. cost 20 bucks
got into santa marta and then taganga
our hostel is huge and on a big hill called casa san felipe. 13 bucks for a dorm with 5
figured out all our lost city things and paid 300 bucks for a 5 day 4 night trek in the jungle, cant wait.
bought a few things we needed for the trek like water shoes and a flashlight. we are all ready to go.
geared up and walked past the first playa blanca, pretty but touristy.
walked up 2 more mountains to this more secluded beach. gorgeous scenery and great beach. walked back to a more secluded playa blanca for a nonexistent sunset. lol
walked back and got some more money8(its going fast!)
chillin on the internet, hope to skype with sheila tomorrow and about to drink and eat fish.

Day 2 cartagena
woke up and went to the panaderia to get some fresh bread for breakfast
fresh squeezed oj
walked around the city more found some mola fabric for mom
street vendors galore
left our hostel and went to el viajero nice place much bigger with a much bigger patio
set up tour for mu volcano
hour trip to inactive volcano with mud pit 20 bucks
strange bouancy and serious mud
covered in mud for skin
people immediately asking to give us massages and take photos
stayed in mud for 30 minutes
got out and washed it all off in a lake, also ladies offering to bathe us
got back and bought a communal dinner of rice and meat and veggies
chill night, beers and cribbage, talked with an australian for a long time
leaving for taganga tomorrow from a bus that takes us right to our next hostal.

flight at 530
no complications landed in cartagena and warm and humid
10 minute taxi to hostel mokako nice place 10 bucks a night
took a walk to find an atm you get money in pesos very convenient
walked to castillo san felipe very cool old spanish fort explored all around
came back and chilled in hammocks in the hostel
went for a very long walk in old town sooo cool and pretty all lit up
street performers dancers
beef and potatoes on a stick
went to a cheap chicken place yumm pretty tired
went back to our main square 3 beer and a tip 10 bucks
creepy guy trying to sell us drugs ian
went back to hostel and drank aguardente and learned to play euker just like sheepshead
soo very tired by the end and slept great
